Chipotle Molasses BBQ Sause
Ingredients
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 C molasses
- 1 can adobo pepper
- 1 C ketchup
- 1/2 C vinegar
- 1/2 C water
Instructions
- Add sugar and spices to a pot over medium low heat
- Toast spices ~ 30 seconds
- Add remaining ingredients, blend with stick blender
- Cook 15 minutes
Carolina Vinegar Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 cups of apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic granules
- 2 teaspoons onion granules
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/3 cup of ketchup
Instructions
- Add the vinegar, brown sugar, and salt to a medium-size pot and bring to a boil.
- Add in all the other ingredients and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
- Cool and serve
South Carolina Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cups of yellow mustard
- ¼ cup whole grain mustard, optional
- ½ cup of apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- ¼ cup of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons garlic granules
- 2 teaspoons onion granules
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Add the ingredients to a medium-size pot and cook over low heat for 15 minutes while occasionally stirring.
- Cool and serve.
Alabama White Sauce
- 1 Gallon Mayo
- 2 2/3 Cups Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup + 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Horseradish
- 3 Tbl + 2 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3 Tbl + 2 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Tbl + 2 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
